From the very beginning, The Spot was never just about coffee — it was about creating a space where community, creativity, and collaboration could thrive. We’ve loved every moment of building this hub in the Noosa Hinterland and watching it come alive with laughter, art, and connection.

The cafe is under new management and has been handed over to our wonderful neighbours at Uncle Bearskin, who will continue serving coffee and food under a new name, with their own flavour and flair.

But while the café takes on its new identity, ‘The Spot’ as an idea and collective hub remains with us. The heart of what we built — a purpose driven offering for people to gather, connect, and create — continues. The essence of The Spot will live on as a community hub, with events, workshops, and gatherings that celebrate creativity and togetherness. New dates for our much-loved Life Drawing classes will be announced soon.

We are so grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey so far. So as the name above the café will change, the essence of The Spot remains in Cooroy in a new shape and form that will transpire after a much needed breather for our family.
